Tuition Benefit and Waiver Information
The Office of Human Resources manages the applications for Tuition Waivers and Benefits for eligible employees and their dependents. The forms can be completed online via Self-Service Banner. See below for more information regarding the different benefit programs. Questions regarding tuition benefits can be directed to hrtraining@rowan.edu or by calling 856-256-4134.

Tuition Benefit Information
Tuition Benefit for Dependents, Spouses, and Domestic/Civil Union Partners
Note: Tuition benefit applications will be closed from April 1st - May 31st and will reopen for the 2024-2025 academic year on June 1st.
The Office of Human Resources manages the applications for the Tuition Benefit for Dependents, Spouse, and Domestic/Civil Union Partners. The form must be completed annually and is accessible to all new and returning students through Self-Service Banner. Students must login to Self Service Banner with their unique login, click on the Student tab, go to Submit Electronic Forms, and select Tuition Benefit For Dependent Application to complete the form. The Office of Human Resources will receive an email that it was submitted and if approved, it will be forwarded it to the Office of the Bursar to update the student account.
Additional Notes:
- The dependent (student) should be prepared with their Banner ID number as well as the corresponding É«ÀÇÉçÇø employee’s in order to complete the form.
- The application will allow you to upload tax documentation (only prior year 1040 tax form will be accepted) or, if the student is listed as a dependent on the employee’s health benefits form, they can select the option to have the Office of Human Resources verify proof of dependency by checking the forms on file.

Please note: Tuition waiver approvals are contingent upon continued employment. É«ÀÇÉçÇø will honor the tuition waiver for one semester if employment separation is a result of a reduction in force. Employee must be employed at the start of the semester for the semester waiver to be honored.
Tuition Waiver for Employees
- Employees must register for courses prior to completing the form.
- Two approvals, including direct supervisor, are required to properly submit the waiver. In the event there is a vacancy in a supervisory role, one supervisor may provide signature in both fields.
- A new waiver must be submitted for each semester.
