Supervisory Skills Certificate Program
The HR Supervisory Skills Certificate Program is designed to provide an opportunity for supervisors and managers with limited to moderate supervisory experience to enhance their leadership capabilities. Participants will be required to attend all of the training sessions in order to complete the program.
Individuals interested in participating in the program will need to obtain approval from their manager and then submit the application (linked below). Applications are due by December 6, 2024. Applicants will be notified of their selection status following the review of all applications.
Curriculum
Instructor-Led:
- Effective Communication for Supervisors
- Conflict Resolution Strategies
- Enhancing your EQ (Emotional Intelligence)
- Leadership Dynamics Part I
- Leadership Dynamics Part II
LinkedIn Learning
Participants will be required to complete three elective LinkedIn Learning supervisory skills-based classes (topics that are not covered in the in-person sessions). Multiple course options are provided and participants will select the three that they are the most interested in.
Eligible Participants
- Supervisors in their first supervisory capacity position at É«ÀÇÉçÇø or in general
- Supervisors with limited to moderate supervisory experience
- Supervisors interested in a professional development opportunity to enhance their leadership skills
