Living Learning Communities
Live here. Learn here. Thrive here.
Living-Learning Communities, commonly referred to as LLCs, are communities developed to enhance students’ residential experience. Named a high-impact practice by the Association of American Colleges & Universities, LLCs transcend the learning experience in the classroom to a learning experience in the residential community. They are created to bring students together with shared interests, passions, and academic goals with a group of students who share your living space.
Living in an LLC will enable you to study together, share textbooks, join similar clubs and organizations, and share your passions and dreams all while benefiting from not just the social connection but also a direct connection with a campus liaison, whether that be a professor, staff member, or specifically selected Resident Assistant!
É«ÀÇÉçÇø has 11 Living-Learning Communities open to incoming first-year students. While some require you to be a part of a program, college, or major, many are open to anyone who may share an interest or just want to try something new and different!
You can select an LLC in your Housing Application. Please keep in mind some LLC's require a separate acceptance into the program and will be unavailable for selection. These programs will confirm which students are admitted and are eligible to live in the LLC. Locations for each LLC are subject to change yearly based on availability. For more information, please explore all LLC options below!
