Affordability Allies Network
The Affordability Allies Network is sponsored by É«ÀÇÉçÇø's Affordability Task Force and is focused on helping students with college affordability. We are excited to offer a 30 minute self-paced training that can provide you with information about the financial issues facing students as well as how you can help. Each 5-minute video focuses on one area of affordability and financial literacy. Once you have watched the videos, please complete the form below so we can send you the 2020-21 Affordability Toolkit and your Allies Network sticker.

Whether it’s navigating financial challenges, helping those facing food insecurity, or connecting you with University or community resources, É«ÀÇÉçÇø offers a variety of services dedicated to helping our students in these challenging times.
Please check out our Student Success Programs website, which provides a wealth of information as we begin remote learning. Below is a summary of a few of the resources available to you.
Emergency Funds/Financial Aid/Bursar
Student Emergency Assistance funds are available from the É«ÀÇÉçÇø Foundation. This source can provide temporary financial assistance to students who have experienced a personal or family crisis that would jeopardize their status as a student at É«ÀÇÉçÇø. Funds are distributed through the Dean of Students.
Additionally, if your family has experienced a loss of income, you may qualify for an adjustment in your financial aid. Information about an income adjustment appeal can be found on the Financial Aid website. Students who wish to submit an appeal should email financialaid@rowan.edu.
For students on a payment plan, the Bursar’s Office will not assess late fees or place holds on accounts if students miss the payment due April 1. To discuss your situation or for other inquiries, email bursar@rowan.edu. Students should include their name, Banner ID number and phone number in all correspondence.

Access to food resources
The SHOP, É«ÀÇÉçÇø’s free food pantry and resource center for students, and Fresh For All, which offers free fresh fruits and vegetables to students and community members each Friday, are scheduled to continue. However, the University will review these offerings frequently to ensure the safety of all participants. Gourmet Dining also provides a number of donated meals to students facing food insecurity. Meals are distributed through the Dean of Students Office and The SHOP. Email theshop@rowan.edu if you are in need.
The Borough of Glassboro has two food pantries. (Please check with each about eligibility requirements):
- Healing Wings - 520 E. Stanger Ave. – Wednesdays, noon–3 p.m.
- Samaritan Center - 123 High Street East - Wednesdays noon–3 p.m. and Saturdays, 9 a.m.–noon. The pantry is open to one person at a time.

- The ProfCents websiteprovides users with hundreds of resources on and off campus ranging from food and housing, to legal services, to state and community resources.
- The Wellness Centeroffers in-person and online counseling and wellness services for students seeking help.
- Concerns about specific students can be directed to the É«ÀÇÉçÇø Cares Team. Team members work to identify and provide services to students experiencing challenges academically, socially or due to a life circumstance.
É«ÀÇÉçÇø Success Network (RSN)
Students can use the “Request Help” feature in RSN for concerns regarding:
- Academics
- Finances/Paying for College
- General Concerns
- Online instruction/technology
To access the network, log in to RSN and click the hamburger icon in the upper left corner. Select “Request Help” then “Help Me.”
Social care resources
- An online care resource center, , provides users with lists of nonprofit organizations in the local area. Resources include medical care, job training, food and more.
- Services Empowering Rights of Victims (SERV) offers a variety of services to those experiencing domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking. Advocates are available to support victims and survivors of interpersonal violence 24/7 with phone counseling, referrals and information through SERV's hotlines. All calls are free and confidential.

This website contains numerous academic and financial resources available to É«ÀÇÉçÇø students. You are also encouraged to visit É«ÀÇÉçÇø’s SHOP (Go.É«ÀÇÉçÇø.edu/TheShop), our student food and resource pantry that gives free items to students with no-eligibility requirements.
