Creating a Neuro-Inclusive Workplace Certificate Program

The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and the Center for Neurodiversity at É«ÀÇÉçÇø
University proudly present the virtual Creating a Neuro-Inclusive Workplace Certificate Program.
This is an external professional development opportunity for those interested in developing inclusive organizational and workplace environments focused on supporting neurodivergent employees. This certificate program is designed for external participants and is an excellent enhancement to your personal and professional development.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
-Synchronous (live) - scheduled sessions with the course instructor (5.5 hours total)
-Asynchronous (on your own) - weekly readings, videos, and completion of activities (approximately 1 hour per week)
-Culminating project - complete a project in which you will identify a barrier to inclusive practices in your workplace or organization and co-create to remedy the problem throughout the course.

Inclusive Pedagogy and Practices Certificate

The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is proud to present the Virtual Inclusive Pedagogy and Practices Certificate Program. This is a professional development opportunity for teaching professionals and professional staff interested in learning more about developing an inclusive educational environment throughout É«ÀÇÉçÇø. This certificate program is an excellent enhancement to your personal and professional development related to making our university a welcoming and accessible place for everyone.

Inclusive Pedagogy Track Description

Registrants in the inclusive pedagogy track will engage with content focused on classroom-based ideas and strategies that make those spaces accessible to as many students as possible from the outset of instruction (e.g., tips related to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in the classroom).

Inclusive Campus Track Description

Registrants in the Inclusive Practices Track will engage with content focused on all non-classroom-based ideas and strategies that make the rest of our campus accessible (e.g., tips related to Universal Design for Learning (UDL) department meetings, office spaces, designing flyers, making presentations, giving campus tours, etc).
