How do I apply for HEERF III funding?
Students can access the HEERF III - Student Emergency Assistance Form by logging into using their É«ÀÇÉçÇø Network ID and password. They should then proceed to the "Student" tab, select the link “Submit Electronic Forms” and select the “HEERF III - Student Emergency Assistance” form.
How can I get an update on the status of my application?
Applications are subject to a detailed review process. You can expect to be notified via e-mail 5-7 business days after the the application closes.
I am having difficulty choosing responses that best describe my situation. Can your office assist on which response is best?
Unfortunately, we cannot guide students with their answers on this application. Please provide the most accurate answers possible.
How do I know if my application was successfully submitted?
After submission, students will be e-mailed a confirmation number via their É«ÀÇÉçÇø e-mail account.
Can I change a response on an application that I already submitted?
Applications cannot be changed once submitted; all submissions are final.
Is it possible to submit an additional hardship letter with my form?
No, scores are based on a rubric and dependent on how you respond to the questionnaire.
I have a balance due on my student account. Am I required to apply the HEERF III funds to my account balance?
Students are not required to apply the funds to their account balance, but it is an option provided to them on the HEERF III - Student Emergency Assistance Form.
If my application has been reviewed and approved, how long will it take for me to receive my refund?
A refund will be processed in 1-2 business days following approval. You will receive an e-mail once it has been processed.
All refunds processed for HEERF III relief funds will be issued via direct deposit (eRefund). Please ensure that you are enrolled in eRefund by following the instructions provided here. If you are approved to receive funds but are not enrolled in eRefund, a hold will be placed in our system for up to 30 days until your eRefund enrollment has been completed.
Will there be additional funding provided through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021 for the 2021-22 academic year?
As information is released, the University will communicate any and all information that affects student grant funding.
