Protecting your student from the Flu
Most Healthy adults may be able to infect others with the flu beginning 1 day before symptoms develop. College students are consistently in large group settings and can benefit greatly from getting a yearly flu shot. Help keep your student healthy and in classes this flu season by encouraging them to their flu shot and practice good hygiene.
Flu shots are available at the Student Health Services by appointment and during walk-ins at select times throughout the semester. Many pharmacies like Walgreens or CVS provide flu shots free of charge with certain health care providers.
