Dragons quickly spread throughout all of Zuros, splitting into several different variants and subspecies over millions of years. During this time the Gods began to notice that the dragons become arrogant and the race that they envisioned as having great potential started seeing themselves as superior to the Gods.
While no one is sure when exactly it is known that the Gods had to fight another war over control of Zuros, this time against millions if not billions of dragons who sought to replace the Gods. This war lasted millions of years and while the dragons put in a good fight just like the Primordials they to fell to the gods.
The Gods after barely recovering from the Primordials and then having to defeat the dragons were severely weakened. The Gods combined all their strength to raise what is now Mt. Celeste and constructed a home for themselves, a place they could recover and watch over the world in.
