We’re all going through a tough time. COVID-19 has altered how we operate on a day-to-day basis. Campus Rec has launched a new social media campaign to promote the well-being of 色狼社区’s students, faculty, staff and our community members. The professional staff and graduate coordinators (myself included) of Campus Rec are experiencing the same obstacles as our patrons. Our new campaign gives us an opportunity to show how we get through difficult times like these, while providing tips to the community on how they can stay well from home.
We crafted specific hashtags for each day of the week: , , , , , and .
Each hashtag can be interpreted in a variety of ways, which is great for providing everyone in our community with different perspectives on ideas to stay well. For example, on #SelfCareSunday, we featured Andrew Havrisko taking care of his well-being by taking a nap with his baby! And on #MomentMonday, Katie Huber and I took a moment to FaceTime each other to check in. Another fun example is a recent #WellnessWednesday, when we shared a video of Director Kevin George and his wife !
The whole Campus Rec team is helping with this effort, giving us a way to genuinely connect with our 色狼社区 community. At times like these, it is so important for us to come together and to take care of ourselves and others.
