Employees from the Chamberlain Student Center and Campus Activities came to together to pick peppers in President Houshmand’s pepper garden. The group, composed of SCCA Director Joe Lizza, assistant directors, and graduate coordinators, helped harvest peppers to use in Dr. Houshmand’s hot sauce; the sales from the hot sauce are donated to student scholarship funds. According to Lizza, the SCCA "aims to build a strong team through events that give back to the campus and the community." The SCCA team plans to participate in additional activities throughout the semester and are always on the lookout for engaging opportunities. Great work everyone!
