Thanks for taking our poll on which softball team you thought would win the Summer Employee Softball League Championship! After collecting over 40 votes, a resounding 32% of you thought the GLOBETROTTERS would take first place! Second and third place were a tie between Ill-Advised and Pitch, Please. Here's a visual of the voting results:

So how did the teams actually do? In the Recreational League, the Memorial Marauders upset the undefeated We Show UP to lock in the Championship title. In the Competitive League, Ill-Advised will face off against Sons of Pitches in the Championship game on Thursday, June 27 at 5:00pm. Feel free to stop by the Campus Rec fields after work to cheer them on!

All-in-all, fun was had by every team this season. If you're interested in playing next season, keep an eye out for communication from Campus Recreation in the Spring of 2020. You can join a team that already exists, sign up as a free agent, or form a brand new team of your own!
