When asked for her top tip for communicating with students, Carol shared: "Regarding communication – my favorite way to communicate general advising information to students is to visit the appropriate classrooms. When reaching out to an individual student, it’s texting or email followed with a phone call that’s most effective. But meeting with students individually, asking open-ended questions and showing interest in their replies is, of course, my favorite."
