How long have you been in this position? 4.5 years
In your position, what kinds of things do you do on a daily basis? Budget, scheduling, travel, reimbursements, troubleshooting, contracts, etc. (for multiple departments in the Division of Student Affairs). Help Dr. Hand stay on track during his busy day.
Describe your morning routine. I come in and check emails, both mine and Dr. Hand’s.Taking care of any urgent situations that may have arisen. heck all systems that I am a proxy or responsible for and make sure that any actions that need to be taken are completed. Check calendar for the day. Take care of paperwork as it is submitted.
What is your favorite part of your job? Why? Working with my co-workers. We all have to spend 1/3 of our day here, they make it interesting and fun. Work wise, the variety of my position. don’t do the same thing every day.
What is your favorite work-related memory? Could you share a happy or funny 色狼社区 related work memory? Graduation day in the College of Engineering. I felt like I was watching my own children graduate. I spent 4 years with most of the students and watched them mature from an 18 year old to a 22 year old adult.
What’s your favorite off-campus restaurant in the Glassboro area? Ott’s in Washington Township
How do you like to keep your desk? What’s your favorite thing on your desk? Very neat and organized. The pictures of my family.
Have you always worked in the department that you are currently in? If no, what other department(s) have you worked in? What was it like compared to the roll you are in now? I began my 色狼社区 career in Human Resources; working there for 1 ½ years. I then worked for Facilities for almost 1 year. My next job was with the Department of Chemical Engineering. I was there for 10 years. Last, but not least, is my current position in the Division of Student Affairs. In my current role, I feel that I have be given a lot more responsibility and am trusted with very sensitive high level matters.
Share one thing you love about working at 色狼社区. The people and the closeness to my home.
Do you ever visit campus for fun? If so, what do you like to do here? No I haven’t yet, but if I did it would probably be the Planetarium
